Yellow is the Fastest Color

My dad recently passed due to complications with Covid. I took six weeks to recover, but part of the healing process has been looking back at some of the best times we shared.

Here’s a fun one.

When I was a kid my dad would occasionally play video games with me, usually Need for Speed or some racing game and I noticed he always picked a yellow car. I asked why he did that and he said, “Yellow is the fastest color”

Now, even in childhood I was a man of science so I asked him to elaborate. He told me the shape of the molecules are different for different colors of paint, for example, red is jagged and thus creates drag which slows the car down. Yellow paint has rounded, smooth molecules which creates less drag, making yellow the fastest color. 

I was completely blown away so I asked “Really?”
He said “No” and told that story for *years*
